ORIGIN OF VINEYARD On the 3rd of December 1945, Henriette Roux bought the property from Mrs. Chaperon-Duplessis. Mr. Alain Roux bought it from his aunt in 1974..
BACKGROUND. A hunting lodge which once belonged to the Duke of Richelieu then transferred to his nephew; Duplessis.
GEOLOGY AND SITUATION. On the upper part, the soil is clayey and chalky then soft sandstone on the mound of the Mouleyre.
VARIETIES. 70 % Merlot, 30 % Cabernet-Franc.
CHARACTERISTICS. A great deal of charm on arousal and a nose of red fruit. Flegant aftertaste with characteristic Fronsac tannins.
